Jake opened Wig Chop on Stanley Street back in 2014 with one chair, a pair of shears, and a simple idea: give Wodonga a proper barbershop that takes the craft seriously.
Trained in traditional scissor work and clipper fades, he spent years honing his technique before bringing it home to the Border. Over a decade later the shop is still going strong — more than 150 five-star cuts speak for themselves.
The atmosphere is relaxed and unhurried. Good conversation, good music at a reasonable volume, and a haircut done right the first time.
Walk-ins are always welcome, but a quick call ahead is the safest way to lock in the chair.
